Social Media Breakfast NH # 2: Planning

The first Social Media Breakfast was a success! Thank you all for coming – we had a packed house in spite of the weather. (Link to recap with video and audio)

The next Social Media Breakfast will be on 3/20 in Portsmouth, NH, venue TBD.

The theme is Government 2.0, with a focus on how local government is using social media, how charities and organizations are using social media to work with government, etc. I am still lining up and adjusting speakers, once I have finalized the roster I will post it here.

Seeking:

• Portsmouth, NH VENUE for 80 people, with food, wifi and room for AV equipment (having the AV equip even better) – I’ve looked at several places and none were a fit either due to price or missing amenities.
• 3rd speaker

Please let your local government know about this – I’d love to have a mix of social media types and government there to share ideas and talk out the issues – remember, in 2009 we want to reach out beyond our social media bubble.
